Specialising in mouthwatering, homemade smashed beef burgers, vegetarian and vegan burgers, The Peckish Penguin is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat after a swim at one of the local beaches or peeking at the penguins at the Boulders colony. We are a takeaway with courtesy seating. Opening hours for July are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11.30 to 16.30. Please note that opening days and times can be weather-dependent at present so high north winds and/or persistent rain may cause closure – we endeavour to keep our opening days and times current on our Google Maps listing.
Do you serve chicken?
No. We only serve homemade smashed beef, vegetarian and vegan burgers.
Do you serve alcohol?
No, we are not licensed to sell alcohol. We serve still and sparkling water, Coca-Cola (inc. Zero), fruit juices and other soft drinks: all cold out of the fridge!
Do you serve chips/fries?
Not as yet. We do serve hand-cut crisps as an alternative or if you are eating a burger with us you may bring a takeaway fries from Penguino next door.
