This peaceful, light, airy apartment offers breathtaking 180 degree views of False Bay.

It offers accommodation for 4. The bedroom sleeps 2, with the choice of kingsize or twin beds. The spacious living area has a sofa bed with pull out which sleeps 2. Even the bathroom (shower only) has view of the sea. The kitchen is well equipped.

We have solar hot water and electricity so are hardly affected by any power cuts and have excellent wifi access. Braai facilities obviously!

From Cape Seaforever you can watch the whales in season, seals, birds, boats and all the changing beauty of the False Bay. Greet the sun as it rises over the mountains opposite or watch the moon cast its soft light onto the waves.

Just below you, a short walk away, is the safe and sandy Fisherman’s Beach, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, paddling or sunbathing. All along this shoreline there are endless rock pools with a wealth of marine species.

Closer to home you have the use of a magnificent, 10 meter solar heated swimming pool in the garden, well protected from the prevailing south-easterly wind. (Swimming season November to April)

The mature, indigenously planted garden also has a brand new hot tub/jacuzzi. There is an extra charge for this, and we need 4 hours’ notice to get it ready for you.

Because we are surrounded by the Table Mountain Nature reserve, you may see various animals passing through the area…mongoose, dassies, the occasional small buck. Our less welcome visitors are the baboons. They are not aggressive but very keen to get at human food. We have baboon security and will instruct you on how to deal with them should they put in an appearance in the neighbourhood.

The apartment is attached to our house but is self-contained and has its own separate entrance. You will not be intruded upon but you will be sharing the garden and the pool with us.

We also like to be on hand to welcome you and ensure your stay is a good one. Diane (South African) is the home maker and architect of the apartment. She is also a psychotherapist and a potter. Peter (English) is a facilitator of seminars on sustainability for senior businesspeople in Southern Africa.

We look forward to welcoming you!
