SIMON’S TOWN CIVIC ASSOCIATION (STCA)

The STCA Chairman and the Executive Committee (EXCO) invites you to its AGM and asks you to save this date.
The Guest Presentation is:
THE TIME IS NOW – Saving the African Penguin from Extinction
Dr Katta Ludynia of SANCCOB and Nina Braude of the Biodiversity Law Centre will be speaking about the latest steps to address African Penguin population declines and what the greater Simon’s Town community can do to help.
The STCA EXCO is looking for the following volunteers:
If you or someone you know, would like to volunteer for the EXCO, please write to our Hon. Secretary Alexandra Jongens (alexandrajongens1@gmail.com) giving some background experience, your interest and a nomination by a local resident as a reference. Submit your nominations by Monday 29 April 2024.

The meeting ends with drinks and snacks giving you the opportunity to engage with the STCA EXCO, the guest speakers, Councillor Simon Liell-Cock and Alderman Felicity Purchase who will be available to discuss any matters and questions arising.
