DESCRIPTION:STCA AGM 2024 \nNOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE  \nSIMON’S TOWN CIVIC ASSOCIATION (STCA) \nVenue:  Simon’s Town Community Hall\nDate:     Monday 6th May 2024\nTime:     5.30pm Registration; 6pm Start; 8pm Close \nThe STCA Chairman and the Executive Committee (EXCO) invites you to its AGM and asks you to save this date. \nThe Guest Presentation is:  \nTHE TIME IS NOW – Saving the African Penguin from Extinction \nDr Katta Ludynia of SANCCOB and Nina Braude of the Biodiversity Law Centre will be speaking about the latest steps to address African Penguin population declines and what the greater Simon’s Town community can do to help. \nThe STCA EXCO is looking for the following volunteers: \n\nTreasurer – role ideal for a volunteer with an accounting background.\nProperty (planning & heritage) – ideal for a retired architect or town planner.\nCommunication – requires the ability to manage website & social media content.\n\nIf you or someone you know\, would like to volunteer for the EXCO\, please write to our Hon. Secretary Alexandra Jongens (alexandrajongens1@gmail.com) giving some background experience\, your interest and a nomination by a local resident as a reference.
