When you've had enough of grimy city streets, head for laid-back Simon's Town where butterflies live in gardens and penguins own the beach.

Topsail House, an enchanting old building, was converted into a lodge from a convent school dating back to the mid-1800's, so a few delightfully quirky religious artefacts still pepper the place.

The Tree Lined Access Road
The lodge is set in peaceful surroundings on the scenic road to Cape Point. You can stroll to the beach and enjoy the warm waters of False Bay, pop down to the historic naval town of Simon's Town and it's charming main road, visit the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach or head off into the Cape Point Nature Reserve and discover some of the Peninsula's secrets.
