Seagetaway is a exclusive two bed roomed self catering cottage situated a few km outside the quaint naval town of Simon’s Town and is less than five minutes walk from the stunning local beaches.

Waken to the sound of whales and watch them from the comfort of your bed (July to October). Watch the sun rise above the mountains and over the sea.

Take a five minute early morning walk to Fisherman's beach, watch the waves catch the early morning sun and enjoy the beauty of nature around you.

ACCOMMODATION
Seagetaway is two bed roomed self catering cottage which accommodates a maximum of 5 guests and is ideally suited for families or business travellers.

FEATURES

Seagetaway self catering cottage has a comfortable living area with spectacular views of the sea. There is Television, DVD and DSTV (Satellite TV) in the living area.
The main bedroom with a magnificent view of the sea has a queen size bed and built in cupboards. The second bedroom with a magnificent view of the sea of the sea has two single beds built in cupboards. There is a single bed available in the living area.
The modern kitchen opens onto the living area and has a granite breakfast counter with four comfortable bar stools.
The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, built in oven & hob, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery & glasses.
The living area opens up to the outside area with built in barbecue so you can enjoy a barbeque (braai) as you look across the bay.
Seagetaway self catering cottage has a private sheltered garden where you can tan in private.
The tiled bath room(en-suite to main bedroom) has a deep bath and separate shower.
There is also a separate guests toilet.
Seagetaway has a single garage with automatic door there is parking for two more cars in the driveway.

Linen is provided and bath towels are provided.
Please bring your own beach towels.

stroll to boulders beach and watch the African Penguins at home
take a scenic 10 minute drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve
visit quaint Simon’s Town historic main road, the local waterfront and toy museum
take the family to the Scratch Patch and seek out semi-precious stones
buy fresh fish at Kalk Bay harbour and come home to enjoy a fish barbecue “braai” in the sheltered “braai” area
visit Simon’s Towns excellent restaurants and coffee shops.

DIRECTIONS TO SEAGETAWAY
Directions from Cape Town International Airport
+- 45kms to Seagetaway
Take the N2 highway towards Cape Town
Pass under the M5 freeway
Pass the M4 turnoff
Get ready to leave the N2
Look for the M3 Rhodes Drive / Muizenberg turnoff on your left
Leave the N2 by following the M3 on your left
The mountain is on your right
You will not be leaving this road until you reach the very end of the M3
Pass the University of Cape Town on your right
Pass through 5 sets of traffic lights
The M3 becomes a freeway and passes through the Constantia Valley
The mountain is on your right
When you reach the T junction at the end of the M3 turn right at the traffic light in the direction of the M64 Ou Kaapse Weg, Fish-Hoek and Simon's Town
At the 2nd traffic light turn left onto the M64 Ou Kaapse Weg, Fish-Hoek and Simon's Town
You will go over up pass through part of the Cape Peninsula National Park
As you descend you will see the village of Fish-Hoek on your left and your first glimpse of False Bay
You are now entering Sun Valley, a suburb of Fish-Hoek
A modern shopping mall is located on your right behind the church, trees and Mac Donald's (This would be a good time to pick up some supplies)
Travel through the valley past 2 sets of traffic lights, the first is at the mall and the second a large 4 way cross roads
Leave the valley and climb up Black Hill
Continue over the ridge into the Glencairn Valley
At the T junction and traffic light, turn right onto the M3 in the direction of Simon's Town
False Bay is on your left-hand side
The mountain is on your right
Welcome to Simon's Town!
Pass right through Simon's Town village
Continue past the Naval Dockyard, (the high, long stone wall) on your left
Pass the Simon's Town Golf Course on your left
Pass 2 small beaches on your left
You are about to leave the residential area
After a bus stop at Ixia Crescent on your right look for Rocklands Road on your right
Seagetaway is no 10 Rocklands Rd the entrance is on the Corner of Rocklands and Freesia Rd
